The Retro Smart Wood System is a Bespoke tailored underfloor heating system cleverly designed to install a ‘wet system’ underfloor heating method to existing
suspended timber and chipboard floors without the need to spend thousands of pounds on lifting existing boards and re laying for new or building up the levels
with an overlay system and then replacing skirting boards and cutting down doors and all the associated works involved.
With one of the Tailored CAD designed Retro Smart Wood Systems a completely bespoke design can be achieved to work with your room shape and size without the need to remove subfloors or build up levels.

• Zero floor build up all pipes cut in to existing floor boards causing no change in levels.
• Primary heating source no need for radiators giving you more clear wall space and more aesthetically pleasing.
• Eco Friendly and efficient. Water runs at a much lower water temperature Using less gas saving money in heating bills, the system is also more responsive than traditional methods feeling heat under foot in just minutes.
• Entire design and installation all carried out in house by our highly trained team of engineers and designers.
• Dust free cutting method we use specifically designed dust extraction equipment to allow the channelling of the floors to be done with minimal
dust or mess.

Traditional under screed Underfloor Heating is on the rise in the new build sector as customers and developers realise the advantages of underfloor over conventional radiator systems. Traditional Underfloor Heating is a means of heating a whole property through the installation of underfloor heating pipe within your screed solid floor, this carries warm water to radiate heat into your rooms from below heating the screed as a mass.
So how is underfloor heating different to radiators? Radiators rely on convection currents, underfloor heating radiates heat. Convection currents serve to heat the air in the room, where underfloor heating’s radiating heat aims to heat the objects in the room, allowing you to feel the benefit of the heat more.
